Untouchable
Intocable
Elia Gasparolo – Gaspar Libedinsky
Site-specific installation created in collaboration with Gaspar Libedinsky around La Noche by Joseph Pollet (19th century), located in the Antechamber of the Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo.
Hybrid creatures, with bodies made of aluminum and wings made of paper, revolve around the woman, subtly seeking to invade her space and caress her from a distance, while simultaneously revealing her vulnerability.
The work Intocable expands into a play of shadows that interact with her body and spread across the floor, where the reflection of the sculptural piece creates a new dialogue.
