Within the spawning of the silkworm moths dwells a hidden eclipse. By capturing that instant through the lens, the workshop's micro-scale revealed its correspondence with the sky's macro-scale. The embroidery in silk thread and recovered nickel translates this biological event into an astronomical phenomenon, uniting the minutiae of the body with the immensity of the cosmos.

Phases from the Transits Series

Embroidery crafted with hand-spun thread sourced from cocoons left behind by silkworms upon completing their cycle, dyed with natural dyes. The artwork visualizes the statistical data of the Bombyx mori’s evolutionary development by mapping each stage, using the very matter of biological discard to portray the phases of its existence, a space where the material embroiders its own memory.
