Gravitation

Gravitation

Nine textile pieces that evoke seasonal constellations, visible at different times of the year from the Southern Hemisphere.

Each one traces a fragment of time and sky, interweaving the rhythm of the universe with the cycles of nature and human experience.

The work alludes to an invisible force—an orbital tension, a persistent attraction—that holds bodies together even across distance. The embroidered constellations function as signs of an emotional calendar, an intimate cartography where the astronomical and the affective overlap.

The sky, understood as an archaeological site of time, here becomes a surface of inscription: a weaving of the emotional, the celestial, and the vital.
