Amber Light

Amber Light (Luz Ámbar)

Built from overlapping layers of kombucha biotextile, which generate an organic membrane through a process of fermentation.

Through collage, these forms expand into lines and planes that engage with amber light, evoking the fossilized resin that trees produce as a defense mechanism.

The work proposes a sensory experience where matter, light, and process reveal the poetics of protection and transformation.
