Amber Light is a biotextile installation where the color of this fossil resin plays with the lines and planes created by a collage of kombucha. The generation of this skin is a layering process that forms a membrane through fermentation. A symbiotic culture creating a bio leather. With the intention of amplifying this operation and highlighting its characteristics, the process continues through the collage, replicating the organic lines spontaneously generated during its growth stage. Expanding the transposition onto the planes and engaging in a dialogue with light is the experience that the installation invites. The amber color it radiates is the color of fossilized resin secreted by trees in response to aggression or threat. Resin that seeks to protect life.
